Enquiries and project information
When you contact us, we receive the details you deliberately submit — such as your name, contact details, project description and any files you attach — so we can reply and assess the work. Netlify processes the website forms for us. Form contents are kept separate from website analytics and are never copied into analytics events.
First-party website analytics
We use our own Netlify-hosted analytics to understand how the site is used. It records anonymous visitor and session IDs, page paths and titles, referring page paths, campaign tags, maximum scroll depth, active time, screen and viewport size, link and enquiry-CTA clicks, and conversion types. The collection service adds coarse browser, operating-system and device categories plus country, region and city supplied by Netlify.
What analytics never contains
We do not send names, email addresses, telephone numbers, messages, uploaded files or other form contents to analytics. Telephone, email and WhatsApp destinations are removed from recorded link data. Our collection function does not read or store IP addresses, and we do not fingerprint visitors.
Google Ads conversion measurement
The site loads the Google Ads tag to measure advertising performance. An enquiry conversion is sent only on the dedicated thank-you page after a valid form has been submitted and Netlify has redirected the browser there. We do not include form contents in that conversion event. Google may process advertising identifiers and cookies under its own privacy terms and your browser settings.
Storage, access and retention
First-party analytics batches are stored in a private Netlify Blob store. They can be read only through a separate token-protected reporting endpoint used by Subnetix, and are not exposed in the public website. We retain these analytics records for up to 12 months. Enquiries that do not become projects are deleted after 12 months; client and accounting records are normally retained for 6 years where UK tax obligations require it. Google Ads conversion records follow the retention settings of our Google Ads account.
What we do with the information
We use enquiry information to reply, deliver work and invoice clients. We use aggregated analytics and conversion data to improve the website and understand which campaigns produce genuine enquiries. We do not sell personal data or use project information to train AI models.
Your choices and questions
You can clear the site's anonymous identifiers at any time by clearing local website data in your browser. To ask what personal information we hold, request a correction or deletion, or raise a privacy question, email [email protected].
Terms, briefly
Project work runs under a written proposal: fixed price, fixed scope and staged payments. You own the deliverables on final payment. Hosting and care plans are rolling monthly with no exit fee. Complaints go to a human at the email above; the legal jurisdiction is England & Wales.
